  1. Queue-Handler Replacement

  4. This is a replacement for the C= L:Queue-Handler 37.12 (01.03.91). It
  5. fixes several rather nasty bugs with PIPE:, like loosing characters.
  6. This new handler should be fully compatible and a lot more solid.

  8. It is freely redistributable, but copyrighted and should be considered
  9. giftware. If this helps you, send me something small and nice, like a
  10. current Aminet CD. :-)

  12. I created this handler because my popen implementation used for the
  13. diffutils in the HWGRCS package depends on PIPE:, and I do not want to
  14. change that because it is basically a good idea to use the OS. So I
  15. had to put together an OS fix now.

  18. on your side, bad luck. Tell me about any bugs, please.

  20. - Starting with 40.3, the write side should fail instad of lock when the
  21.   read side closes up prematurely.
